I was only 11 but I was staying on the Isle of Wight at my godmathers at the time and I saw the Who play that concert. Of course it was also the first time they played Tommy

Holy crap. I knew MES has been slowly sliding into drink-soaked, piss-stained irrelevance, but the latest Fall offering is possibly the worst record I've ever heard. I've got every piece of vinyl they recorded up to around 2005, and there are some howlers in that collection, but nothing compared to this. If you don't know who the Fall are, love their work or abhor them: avoid this disk. Horrible.

You may think that NL is completely flat, but that is not really true!

We do have some bumps and humps in the landscape.

They are the river dikes, some of which an be up to 15 meters above sea level... :shock:


We refer to these as the Dutch Mountains. :lol:


A dutch group called 'the Nits' had a hit in the 80's called "In the Dutch Mountains".
