A first for me this weekend

On Saturday was the holding of the Lord Mayor of the City of London's annual procession (You may have been there yourself or seen it on the telly)

Anyway, our London office is on the procession route and so we invited a few guests to come and watch the procession from the comfort and warmth of the office over a glass of champers and snackies (I drank orange juice I promise   :thumb: ) and I have to say that seeing the procession for real is very different to what you see on the TV.

Downside was that I had to walk from Waterloo Station to get to the office, and then back again at the end of the day as all the roads were

closed including some of the Underground stations, but none the less, an enjoyable day and something I can now cross off my bucket list to see before I snuff it

Really recommend seeing it if you haven't before

I was out yesterday myself at a local parade, as an ex soldier I always pay tribute to those serving, retired and passed, and remember them with pride and honour, very emotional day for all serving and ex serving service personnel
