Ignore all the elf and safety freaks with the correct bottle its as safe as your fuel tank

 

That is definitely NOT ok to use, it has to be green.

 

Then buy a green one then! its only a colour :roll:

Hydrazine? LPG? Liquid Hydrogen? Jeez - I didn't know plastic bottle technology had come on so far! Certainly puts Lucozade bottles back in their place! Oh well, back to just using them to pee in, then. :shock:

1 litre alloy bottle currently £3.99 from Mountain Warehouse.... (how many mountains can you actually get inside a warehouse?.......)

 

Depends how many mountains you lot make out of mole hills :popcorn:

To go back on topic briefly (heresy, I know :P ), try looking on some dirt bike forums - plenty of people there coming up with ways of carrying spare fuel bottles. Think my favourite I've seen was a pair of MSR bottles held in fire extinguisher brackets, attached to the top box plate.
