I've had her a year and taken her from stock to here.My mechanic done the valve clearance and swing arm bearings plus got the rocker powder coated, new tyres.I've since;Cut the frame and fitted oem 2015 cafe racer seat.Fitted adjustable ohlines shocks.Fzr 1000 exup Ru forks yokes and new bearings.Fzr600 fender.Shiney engine coversRental super lows and braceGold spot R1 brakes and braided lines.Stainless used collector.38mm exhaust mod, very very loud lol.Custom rear light with integrated indicators.Blacked headlight and clock bowls.Black levers.Full service.She handles so much better now but is still a big girl, like stopping a freight train but so much torque it's still fun. Justarn Posted April 29, 2018 Author Share Posted April 29, 2018 Thanks guys, I almost went clip ons and after market zorsts but the stock pipes just suit it I think, looks meaner and more retro muscle imo.I think the clip ons with destroy the comfort.Probably do custom headlight and kolo Speedo next winter tho... Only covered 2-3k in the two years I've had her.Purely a weekend toy above 10deg c:-) and I have a young son so not like I find much time usually.As a general rule xjr are bomb proof (knock on wood)100k plus is a regulatory, oil-air cooled so no head gasket to worry about, 1200cc, redlines about 10k.
