An offer to forum members

Recommended Posts

I know I don't come here anymore, so please excuse me for interupting and showing my face, but I thought some of you would appreciate the below offer

Some of you I know choose to wear textile jackets rather than leather.

Some of you may be thinking about changing your textile jacket.

Have you or are you considering an airbag jacket?

If you are thinking about a new jacket, and if you are thinking possibly of an airbag jacket, then have a look at https://www.airvest.co.uk/ and if hou decide to take it further then quote HUDGELL10 and it will entitle you to a 10% discount.

I have seen these jackets in operation for real and they are superb.

They are not the cheapest, but then quality never has come cheap, although in reality they are on a par cost wise with other quality jackets.

If you are coming to the Ace on Friday, Nick from Airvest be there as our guest and will also be on hand and demonstrating the jackets as well as being able to answer any qustions.

But the offer is ongoing, not just for Friday.

Hope this is of interest?

Unlikely. It was made quite clear to me by some of your members that my presence was no longer welcome, and you have plenty of experts.

Why do you care what some on here say? They are in the minority... and the worst of them has himself had a hissy fit and flounced. My strategy.. is that I don't engage with armchair experts or point scoring keyboard warriors with more ego than sense. just not worth a moment of my time... but, thankfully they're a minority and instantly recognisable and ignoring them (as they rage) is wonderfully satisfying.

your input.. even when (and particularly when) it rattles a few cages is always useful.

You can block people yano, :thumb:. I fully expect to be on that list at some point like.

Thanks for posting that offer Tony.......hopefully see you on here more frequently again...... 8-)

I've got guys at work who've not been with us long who know more than me (with 30 years experience of working on this type of equipment).....so I just ignore them and let them crack on.....Unfortunately it's quite often me that ends up getting called in to sort out their f*ck ups.....but it's those that appreciate my help and advice that outweigh the tw*ts......so that makes it worthwhile. ...... 8-)

The offer remains in place, so just a little bump of the thread for the benefit of those who missed or have not seen the original post or new members who may not be aware. :)
