We've been seriously looking into this recently.
We began along the lines of a t5. Quickly discovered it would be nowhere near big enough (even with the pop. top)

Ideally now thinking a bigger motorhome type affair.

There's 4 of us plus in reality but it still needs to be somewhat practical.

We can't run 2 cars 1 bike and a motorhome.

Proper different world

If you need it to be a practical vehicle all you can do is buy a panel van conversion like the Boxer or transit (T5s are stupid money) and put an awning on the side to sleep everybody. Or put a tent up too?

The campervan world is even more diverse than the Motorbike world!

I'd love a bigger, better van!

But we can't really afford the 1 we've got!

This is the only sort of camper van I'd consider:
Car-and-Campervan.jpg
Except I'd put a couple of bikes in place of the car.

I love my van! I've been all over the place in it - and it isn't much bigger than a car. I do have to compromise on space a bit but can just about stand up  , wouldn't want to share with anyone though

We take ours to Benidorm with the scooter on the back, but next time I'll be taking the Duke 390. Ideal for getting about in a hot country. 8-)
I love the look of that - what kind of money do they go for and what is it? We have a converted T4 and an in-progress T5 but considering changing to a motorhome.

It's a dealer special Elddis Accordo 105. It's just badged Elddis Prestige 105 and there's about £2k worth of extras on it. It was £36,350 new in 2014 but the new ones now are about £40k. Bought from Vehicles 4 Leisure in North Wales. All their vans are "prestige" variants with extras :thumb:
We liked it because it's not too wide and has great payload.
