Evening, does anyone know of any bike that has a manual petrol tap that has ON , RES and most importantly OFF that is NOT attached directly to the tank but is bolted to the frame . I've already found one off a DR 800 , see pic . Any others ? Cheers.https://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/Suzuki-DR-800-SR42B-750-SR41B-Benzinhahn-Hahn-petcock/252753323263?_mwBanner=1&_rdt=1

Older ER5, but I wouldn't recommend one.

I wouldn't recommend one either, that's what I want to replace ! 😂 I need one with an OFF position to stop the thing flooding . ER5 taps are crap . They depend on a microscopic hole between the diaphragms that is all too easily blocked .Cheers anyway.

try a zzr1100 d model tap

Thanks Tim , this looks promising, I'm guessing the two thin pipes on the left are from the tank , one being reserve, and the single fat one goes to the fuel pump. Should work on an ER5 but it would be perfect if the fat pipe pointed downwards.
