Bill Smiths is still there. They have two places - their Honda place which is on the outskirts on the A41 and their main store which is where they sell clothing, accessories etc which is nearer the city centre. If you Google the address you'll find it. There's a car park there as well which is handy.

There's also J&S at Delamere which isn't far away.

Bill smiths is always worth a stop off when passing Chester, during the summer there was a catering van too, not sure if it’s there at the moment. Although if your after clothes and accessoires J&S Northwhich is massive and the food is even better. Can’t think of any more of the top of my head.

Ok so tried to get to the city centre branch of Bill Smith's last night but got swept along in the rush hour traffic in the wrong lane and to get back to it was a hassle.

On the way home we went to J&S and bought a pair of gloves.

Vast choice of kit in there.

The traffic over the past two days has been horrendous. Complete gridlock at some parts of the day. J&S is pretty well stocked and the staff there are always helpful.

On Friday we parked near Northgate and getting out was bad.

Saturday we used the most excellent park and ride from Boughton, £4 for the two of us and free parking.

Getting around Rugby these days by the J1 and Eliots field shopping is a total joke, they have concentrated too many stores in one area on one of the main routes into town.

Bill smiths is definitely a blink and you’ll miss it kind of place.

That Elliot’s field place is awful I fitted all the security doors on the rear of the units, constant call outs from staff breaking doors by wedging them open or ramming their trolleys into them constantly!

Wow thats some distance to travel to fix some doors!

I apologise on behalf of my fellow Rugbeians for being so careless
