New sidewinder position xjr.

Following my other post I've fitted some z1000 used Campbell sidewinders to my xjr. Other than worrying they are close to the shocks and maybe chucking heat on them I've realised I can't actually get the balls of my feet on the pegs properly as they hit the pipes, not ideal....

This is how they sit ATM.

they look better in the second photo but would they lower anymore :?:

I've ordered a 15 degree bend so will sit about there, 10 degrees lower but I want to pull the collector up the other 5 degrees. I like the first position to so I am contemplating loping my heels off haha:-)

Might just get my rear sets back too if I want to use em ever.

Purely from an aesthetic point of view I would choose the arrangement in the third picture where the exhausts are not in front of the shocks when viewed from the side.

I do like the side view there but looks a little odd from the rear I think...

If you like original position can you extend pipe and move them back an inch (or two depending how big your feet are)?

Thanks pal, buy one we can start a gang haha.

Xjr sound different to other bikes with sidewinders.

Gsx1400 sound similar, definitely stood out from the other bikes at the meets even with modded stock cans, sounds epic now...:-)
