I was walking along the canal and came across this. I’ve no idea what it is and have had a good google and can’t seem to identify it anywhere. Can anyone educate me on what it is?

Looks like Filippo Berio, but it could be a sesame oil bottle? Not sure tbh.

Muskavoy duck? Black duck

Definitely a bird though

I found a picture under a bit different name, but it looks like we're talking about the same bird...

It could be a 'Muscovy duck' though the one in the picture is a different colour than the one in your picture.

Still, the shape of the head (which looks like it's screwed on later) and the red area seem to point that way.

From the info I found I understood that it is a native New Zeeland bird...

PS. I'm not a bird watcher, but I do like a puzzle sometimes...

The key diagnostic feature is the fact that it's clearly looking at something, so it's obviously a Peking duck.

Maybe its eying up that bottle with it's all seeing right eye, did it hiccup stumble sideways slightly and slur its quacks?
