Lane control

I was thinking about this thread today approaching a roundabout in the right hand lane intending to turn right. Mr White Van man obviously wasn't as he approached in the very left hand lane (of 4 lanes) which was a dedicated left turn only.

He then proceeded to wander across all four lanes into the right hand lane, passed the first exit which took us down to 3 lanes where he drifted into the middle lane, then changed his mind and went back into the right hand lane, and then as a last minute gesture of bravado slapped on a left hand indicator and tried to make it to the next exit on the left. Only slightly spoiled by the fact he had already passed that exit was obliged to take a short cut across the traffic island.

So it pays to assume the worst and be prepared for it.

Just amazing isn’t it.

There’s tossers round every corner intent on causing mayhem.

I believe you are talking about roundabouts. Islands are land masses surrounded by water to the rest of the world outside the Midlands :D :P

Ah yes you are right, roundabouts.

It’s a bit like cobs, batches, barmcakes, etc.

Outside certain areas people wouldn’t know what you meant. 👍👍.

You mean muffins.

She then mutters "bloody wessies" under her breath...lol

I really need to grow up

Anyone who has ventured into the land of the Deep Fried Pizza and the Macaroon Bar will tell you exactly what a Teacake is .

Don't start with that.....lol

Our friends in Glasgow take the P relentlessly about it.

We actually went to the tunnocks factory this year whilst up in Glasgow as it was Lisa's dads favourite. He passed away a couple of year back.

She bought n absolute load of shite from the shop across the road. We have enough bloody tunnocks tea towels for half of west Yorkshire
