Hoggs
I have gone EVEN CRAZIER WITH THE AMOUNT OF TAGS THIS YEAR!!! Is there any stopping the madness?! Why do I do this to myself!? No one knows!!!! Remind me what I need to do….. 1. Go to this thread and grab yourself a unique number: https://themotorbikeforum.co.uk/forum/topic/33128-challenge-2020-registration/page/3/?tab=comments#comment-522132 2. Check the map here to find out where you need to go: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1MACJ0NhHQKuOlY5AO6AXyXVUDnu9s6BV&usp=sharing Alt link: https://www.google.com/maps/@54.2561273,-7.6963976,5z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m2!6m1!1s1MACJ0NhHQKuOlY5AO6AXyXVUDnu9s6BV 3. Take a picture of you or your bike outside the location with your number in sight 4. Post that picture in this thread 5. Update your point total (found in your profile) 6. Have fun! General tags. This year there are 12 tags per mainland UK region PLUS bonus rounds in the Isle of Man and Northern Ireland PLUS pubs PLUS churches PLUS TWO(!!!!!!) Bonus rounds - Literally no excuse to not get at least one. Key: Green X – Hoggs Bonus Round! (100 points if completed) Blue Bike – Specific Dealer Bonus Bonus Round!!! (100 points if completed) Knife and fork – Café Man – Memorial or Monument Tree – National Park / Stately Home / Castle M Block – Museum(ish) Plane – Some kind of airfield, possibly. Areas – 12 tags per region unless specified North Scotland - Red South Scotland – Dark Blue North West and East England - Yellow East Midlands - Light Green West Midlands - Pink East of England – Light Purple South East England - Orange South West England – Dark Purple North Wales - Black South Wales – Grey Isle of Man – Brown (6 tags only, 50 point bonus still applies) Northern Ireland – Dark Orange 10 points per tag. Complete a region get a 50 points bonus – NOTE some regions are together on the map because I have a limit on the amount of layers I can have - different colour, different region - 50 point bonus available on both. Bonus Rounds! (ooohs and aaahhhhhs) This year there are EVEN MORE opportunities to get bonus points. Hoggs Bonus Round! Green X - This year’s theme is “wild” the points are scattered across the whole land so complete the set get 100 bonus points Specific Dealer Bonus Bonus Round! – Blue Bike - Yes there is a bonus bonus round, get all 15 get 100 points bonus Church Challenge! – Hmm, thought I, what are there a lot of that could be a bonus round… CHURCHES! I am aware some of you may burst into flame if you enter, so a picture from a safe distance will be fine. Any church you like with the following dedication , get all 10 for a 50 point bonus. 1. St Mary 2. All Saints 3. St Peter 4. St Michael 5. St Andrew 6. St Paul 7. Holy Trinity 8. St John the Baptist 9. St James 10. St Nicholas Pub Round - As usual, list of 10 pubs, get a pub with one of the below names get 10 points, get all 10 get 50 points bonus. Scottish “oh my god why don’t you people have more pubs” Rule: if you can’t find the exact pub anywhere near by (and I am trusting you to at least have a go!) then you get more flexibility so as long as one word is correct I’m going to give you the points! For example, instead of the “Half Moon” if you get a “Full Moon” then fine, points for you. I don’t want to hear moaning from the rest of you, you have lots of pubs. Seriously, you try finding all these pubs within 300 miles of each other in Scotland! 1. Half Moon 2. Globe 3. Plough 4. Fox and Hounds 5. Greyhound 6. Windmill 7. Britannia 8. Green Man 9. Stag 10. Woolpack As always this thread is for PICTURES ONLY. If you want to moan.. I mean.. discuss the challenge in any way please go here: Will Hoggfather get the first tag of the year again? Let’s find out….. GO GO GO!!!
