They're only talking about reducing plastic usage so far, rather than changing the product inside.

Not a bad thing. Plastic is probably the biggest material we need to cut out or improve recycling methods of sharpish. If they had branded refillable metal/glass spray bottles I could top up at my local halfords, I'd be game for that rather than going there to buy a new bottle of it each time.

You reduce plastic, you reduce the demand on oil used to create it, and the chances of it ending up in an ocean.
I use rhino goo and buy it in a 5l container for less plastic and the containers can be reused later. I think muc off is like the stuff I use and pH neutral and a bit more eco friendly than cleaners we used to use.

I agree about the plastic waste in Asia/India. Go anywhere that isn't a tourist hot spot and the coast is strewn with detritus - most of it plastic.

The locals don't give a shit either, I've seen them lobbing bales of old plastic sheet out of a moving train and in to the jungle.

I do wish people would stop using these lazy terms like Boomer , Snowflake , Millennial , Gammon or whatever else has dribbled out of the internet . Can't we just describe what section of society we are talking about with a few well chosen words ?

I don't know what you are talking about and I am a bit long in the tooth to be a snowflake. More of a bad tempered old git.

But 'Gammon' is quicker to type than 'Ignorant and deluded right-wing shit-for-brains who didn't do very well at school and can't stand still for 30 seconds without touching his genitals'.

It was Charles Dickens who started Gammon.
