Ha! If you think rugby is tough on the body try sailing Lasers. They are a young man's boat and I am not a young man - in body. The snag is my mind hasn't cottoned on to that yet so I try to keep up with the young whippersnappers and regret it for day afterwards.

Still - for this season I have a new sail, so they had better watch out. This would be a good time to put all your investments into ibuprofen.

Good morning, the storm started here last night and still going, don't know how long it will last or how bad it will get, but so far has been reasonably tame :thumb:

Good Morning :D
It's a bit wet and wild here too!
There's chunks of cement falling off next door's roof! (we've moved our cars and the campervan)
The roof of our half finished new garage did have plastic sheets on to keep it dry
I've been chasing them round the garden but it's too dangerous.
There are trees down all over the place (I have to go to work later)

Wouldn't want to be out on a bike in this!

Just talked to the wife on the phone and was told a section of fence and garden wall has blown down and taken out one of my pear trees. Irritating. Glad the bike is tucked away in my daughter's garage. Funnily enough it's blowing a bit here as well. 40 C is history now although I still managed to get sunburnt whilst fishing this afternoon.
Less empty roads but at last I can ride them!

No walk in the park here either!

14C, blue skies, and one or two fluffy white clouds!

I handled it.......with no support vehicle either!

well it does save the expense of a repair job :)
the law in all it's majestic equality forbids the rich as well as the poor to sleep under bridges to beg in the street and to steal bread.
