This is Juan Cortes in Baza.......very much an old school dealer!

They don't sell many bikes......it's the workshop that keeps them going!

I've used them for all maintenance since I came here in 2005.

And today it was time for a new front tyre.......and they also sorted out the centre stand as it wasn't retracting fully.

Great looking shop and some interesting bikes . So the pair of green bikes , what kind of duties do they perform ? Catching poachers by any chance ?

Those green XT250's are Seprona vehicles.......the animal division of the Guardia Civil.

They use them to visit rural farms to check that standards are being maintained.

They go to Auction sometimes, so I asked Juan to let me know if he hears of one coming up.

Cheers mate , I suppose they are ideal considering the terrain .

When I put vids up, people say to me "Where are all the vehicles and people?"

Personally I prefer it like that.......but I had to go to Baza today, and that actually happens to have vehicles and people!

It's not my ideal environment but it had to be done!

Nice one Pete, proper old skool shop there. That Suzuki RMX is quite rare :thumb:

See the R1200GS there Bob? That one is suffering extensive water damage! Even the clocks!

Which takes a bit of doing considering we're less than 40 miles from the only true desert in Western Europe!

That’s better.

By the way at 47 seconds you did not actually stop at the stop sign.

I tend to take a more relaxed attitude to things like that JRH! 8-)
