All joking aside I'm supposed to be leaving this ship on Saturday in Namibia. At the moment this is in the balance apparently due to this bloody disease. if I don't I'll be well over my time and God knows when the next opportunity would be as the earliest possible would be when the ship gets to its next convenient port which is mid April and in a country which has just banned all foreigners entering. - Whoopie effing do.
This is going to end bad for us, we are cruising to nowhere doing just technical stops for bunker and provisions. No crew or guest change allowed. We should end this world cruise ( longest ever 250 days) on May 2nd in London. Hope it will calm down till then as it is my sign off port.

where are you ? was you on the ship that was in California, where they wouldn't let any one off ?

My brother in law lives in Barbados, poor chap, and they are turning all cruise ships away which is not going down well with the cruise ship clients.

Well all going well I'll be off in Walvis Bay on Saturday in time for breakfast and home on Sunday. Just keeping my fingers crossed now. So glad I've not been near China since last summer.
Less empty roads but at last I can ride them!

What! The 70’s are over?
Not in this house they're not! Just listening to Herbie Hancock as I cook tea (not a prawn cocktail with thousand island dressing in a wine glass, unfortunately - that would have been perfect) and then I might have a game of Mahjong. :D

Coronavirus was created in a lab by Donald Trump's government and released in China to discredit Communism and help Trump win the next presidential election. That's what the bloke who works in my local Indian takeaway told me.

There's nothing wrong with working in a takeaway of course, but it does seem a waste of such a searing intellect...
