Been cleaning up some industrial drawer units for a soon-to-be lathe stand.

I was nearly out of screwfix degreaser but found some gunk on the shelf so thought I'd try that... What a load of shite! There was obviously a reason it was at the back of the shelf!

Anyway, I finished up the last bit of the screwfix stuff and I'm not even half way through. I reckon I'll get a couple of bottles in the top box though. :thumb:

Went for a drive earlier whilst trying to obey the new rules,

went cross country to church stretton then parked up on top of The Long Mynd.

Bumped into Gill(Remy) who used to come on here

Then across The Stipperstones, round Shrewsbury and home.

Only got out of the car on top of the mountain for some fresh air.

quite a few people up there but all keeping their distance.

Lots of bikes about! :thumb:

Went to Asda on the way back, got my rationed 3 packs of fags :?

still no bog roll

Well this thread is pretty much redundant at the moment!

We're looking at setting the karaoke up in the dining room,

getting dressed  and having some sort of virtual

karaoke night with Sue's Sister and Brother in law in Norfolk.

They don't use facebook so it'll have to be skype or something.

Any excuse for cider and singing will do for me!

I shall be sending parents who are home schooling paperwork relating to creating an impossible budget, 98 page leaflet on health and safety requirements, even larger leaflet on monitoring progress, keeping records and tackling challenging behaviour. Then there will be a series of attainment tests, complaints from other parents about lack of information which is readily available via the website, reduction in the aforementioned budget which is already in deficit, self analysis on key skills, documents relating to governance which make sure nobody will volunteer to do it.

They will be required over the weekend to undertake a 3 hour online training exercise in Safeguarding which will time out after 2 hours 58 minutes but must be completed. Supporting information to enable them to undertake this training will be available from the Monday after the weekend.

They will be required to attend a teacher's evening when their child's progress will be monitored and published in a local league table. We shall arrange an OFSTED inspection at home within the next week.
