Oooh a game to play.

Had more than I expected but half are crap ones from crap sets.

Nice torque wrench doins stu, I had a look to see its limit, only goes up to 350Nm ish which is good but I had to do a stupid job recently that needed to click at 450Nm... I botched up an extender for the trusty Halfords torque breaker bar. I can't show the welds as I will laughed at heavily. But it's just a pipe with a useless 11mm socket "welded" to it and ratchet shoved down the business end.

Almost interestingly I think Norbar make those Halfords jobs, and they also make these... which I snapped a pic of whilst wandering around work (so it's not my willy to wave really).

Despite its size it still only goes up to 350Nm as well.

All looking a bit unused. Is this willy just for show or can it be used in anger? 😉

Interesting what you say about "Norbar" Do you think they make other bits in the Halfrauds range?

I ask because their stuff seems so much better than it was a few years ago and some of the so called premium brands are deteriorating in quality.

Cheers

Was actually brand new out of box Christmas present . ( can see packing just in bottom of shot )

My old socket set i have had the majority since my early teens and they took me through my YTS in garages and later through working for three different local garages on a who needed help as well as my own repairs . Fancied having some order in the trays rather than the mishmash of mixed sets .

They don't get used as much as i used to but that's due to a: relatively new bike still under warranty &B. not a lot of time for me to do stuff and garage has become a bit cluttered ....Which plans are in place at present .

So no not just willy waving ... Which reminds me i did find my king dick . picture to follow

This thread got me counting, how many socket sets do I have?

Boat 1/4" drive

Caravan 1/2" drive

Car 3/4" drive

Garage full sets of Imperial and metric, I think it's 2 maybe 3 various drive sizes including torx sockets.

Now hammers and there maybe I am over the top.

Last count

4 standard claw hammers,

3 smaller claw hammers

1 larger claw hammer

4 ball hammers various sizes,

3 chipping hammers,

2 soldering hammers,

1 sledge hammer

2 lump hammers

Should I include 3 standard axes and a pick axe..

As my misses says we are prepared for the Zombie Apocalypse..

Sorry I forgot to list and the plastic one in with the tent...

And the copper / plastic headed one.

I don't think I have a rubber one, although when I have tidied my tools up and checked it might become a necessity..

Ps I really don't know what the one on the left is for... Maybe working leather or cloth or saddles, for horses...

Any guesses...
