fastbob Posted March 31, 2020 Share Posted March 31, 2020 Grip each side firmly with two small pairs of pliers and twist and pull it apart . Alternatively , use a small flat screwdriver and a twisting motion to slightly pry the female connector apart then gently crimp it closed again on reassembly . Any seemingly simple job involving motorcycles ought to result in cut hands, broken tools, tantrums and tears.If it seems to go smoothly you haven't understood the enormity of the situation.
