Recently bought a secondhand Baglux cover for the Busa so went and test fitted it then checked the small tank bag fitted.

All good so now both road bikes have the facility.

I feel a weekend Air BnB when this is over.

Cheers

Yeah it looks all nice and not rusty. Hope it lasts a bit longer this time. I did use it all through winter though.

Looks good #Gym.

I have struggled with black pipes before (Oooer Missus lol) and found that multiple thin coats of VHT backed up by BBQ paint have produced the best results.

Your pipe is a credit to you young lady !

Cheers

Took the fairing off the R1 and gave it all a good clean.

And before you know it, I'd got the rear suspension out aswell.

Didn't realise the suspension bolts were hollow

All back together.

Degunged the side stand pivot and found those bolts hollow aswell.

Splashed out £30 on a tiny bottle of touch up paint and lacquer for the frame and glad I did, because it is looking a lot smarter. The derusting work, from a wire brush (for cleaning spark plugs) on the brake discs to Kurust and touch up paint has gone far better than I thought it would.

Cor a Mk3 Cavalier..!

Brushed some oil on to the chain so it doesn't rust too much after yesterday's rain, pushed it around while braking to scrub off some of the rust, and then put it back. Bah.

I nearly corrected the time on the dash but thought I'd save it for another day 8-)

Well my new MIVV exhaust has been delivered but unfortunately to Barnard Castle which is where I thought I would be. As I'm in Gloucestershire I've now got to get my daughter to forward it on. At least it's in the right country now.

Breaking news:

New LED replacement lights arrived :) :) :thumb:

That's me later fitting new indicators, tail and brake lights.

Then the white clock lights and start to put everything together (If I can remember how...)

Edit: Black leather for tank cover also in.

Going to be a busy couple weeks ;)

Plan:

1 - install LED clock kit (need to remove existing led's and install new ones.

2 - Install LED turning, tail and brake lighting

3 - Assemble fairings

4 - Go for a test ride donno when :( I Will be hitching till then...

Rebuilt the front calipers yesterday with all new seals and new venhill braided brake lines these are much better than other lines in that you screw the banjo bolts to the lines so no more twisted brake lines and fighting to fit them

Not motorbike itself but fitted my new dark visor to my helmet. Hopefully it’ll still be summer by the time I am actually allowed to go out on the bike!
