I've got a MIVV double gun slip on waiting to be fitted when I can retrieve it from my daughter's place in Barnard Castle. Looks way better than the pretty ugly OEM.

I think there is some bloke called Cummins doing collections and deliveries in the Barnards Castle area lol.

Cheers

Ian

He is only doing essential optical equipment :thumb:

After yesterdays problems with Xena's battery it's been on charge and thankfully the battery seems to be fine, took it off charge and is resting at 13v, put some drain on using lights and flashers dropped to 12.4/5 but once at rest came back to settle at 13v, that's good enough for me but will check again in a couple of hours, then i might have to go for a ride just to make sure the electrical system is good  :thumb:

How about putting my old broken paddock stand in the car in readiness for when the tip reopens?

That must count as bike related

I just left the metal out the front of the house.. and this morning it was gone. a box of old and now redundant tools. some rusty. some broken.. now but a memory.

Had a wee spin: home near Stroud to Bridgnorth via Tewkesbury and Worcester then home via Ludlow, Ledbury, Malvern Gap, Pershore, Stow on the World, Chipping Norton, Cirencester and home. No idea as to the distance but far enough. Plenty of bikes out too.IMG_20200528_121637231_HDR.thumb.jpg.1ba14143984bb36884078ca91b468ebb.jpg

Found slight roughness in the Bandits rear wheel bearings while the wheels out for their new tyres next week, so out they came, off to get some tomorrow.

Meanwhile carried on plating my spare bolt stash.

Also thought about this as a piston ring compressor, anyone else tried this idea with a bit of tin can and a reusable cable tie?
