Really dont get the Chinese Motorcycle negativity , its a motorbike, seems strange when you look round the house and all the things that are made in China , including phones electrical goods etc

Valid point indeed. And just because it's made in china isn't the whole picture. Lots of items are designed outside of china and sometimes assembled in other countries. I've been to the Mutt factory in Birmingham and they manufacture many of the parts in the UK taking off those that are not good enough for the salty UK winter roads. Mutt are on version 6 now of their bikes they admit it's been trial and error over 3 years.

2k for a Chinese bike or double that for a rail season ticket it's a no brainer

Built in China, modified in Birmingham.

I don't think it gets much worse than that does it?

Keeps local people in jobs and off the dole queue. New company run by enthusiastic young people paying taxes has to be a positive, but hey we wouldn't be British if we were not criticising it 🤔

I own a KSR moto TW 125, brought it second hand from a neglectful owner. All I can say is they are excellent bikes! Nothing like your standard Chinese tat.

Yes, you are correct - the parts are made in China, but you'll find a lot of "brands" are made in china too. The difference between the KSR moto bikes and fully Chinese brands is the standards they are produced at. KSR moto bikes are produced to "Quality Austria", European standards, and ISO standards there is all the documentation to prove it.

I perform a lot of servicing on my own bikes and KSR is a joy to work on - they're well thought out and everything comes apart and goes back together nicely. The fasteners (bolts etc) are all made to standard and quality control is good. Sheered bolts and things like that just aren't a problem. The service manual is extensive and well written.

What I would say though is because it is a small brand, part availability is not good on the open market. You'll need a dealer hookup, or to be in contact with the UK distributor (if anybody wants I can put you in contact). What I suggest for most people is to stick to a specialist dealer and you'll have no problems at all. KSR moto is really trying to prove itself self so will honor warranties at the drop of a hat. An acquaintance of mine kept crashing his bike, yet still got it repaired under warranty for all of his crashes - that's how far they'll go.

So I highly recommend KSR moto. They deserve more credit, it's hard to break through as a new guy in such a difficult market. Excellent value for money.

I'd be far more inclined to believe the "parts made in China, assembled in Europe" marketing nonsense from these companies if they were actually designing the bikes themselves then just outsourcing manufacturing of the components to China, as opposed to the reality of it where they're buying Chinese bike parts, as designed by a Chinese manufacturer, to assemble a Chinese designed bike, using Austrian bolts and labor

"Hard to break into the market as a new guy" really doesn't count for much if literally all you're doing is buying the bits of someone else's bike and adding your own bolts into the mix.

That makes far too much sense portraying Stu as Kim Jong Un when you see how his Generals and random members of the regime disappear without a trace

He is very pro on having Six for mod when no-one else is. Have you checked i.p. addresses to make sure its not all coming from same Computer?

How can you be sure that nobody wants Six30 as a Mod?

We'd need a Poll to establish that.
