One thing that really pisses me off is all the many food manufacturers who make the size of their products smaller but fail to reduce the price. I always feel conned.

Wagon wheels!!!!
I am in the midst of a post-existential debate over wagon wheels size. Are they really smaller or was my 1960s view of them just relatively seeing them bigger?

I know that when me and my friends were in training for an Olympic event that has been sadly dropped from the games, How many Wagon Wheels can you fit in your mouth at once, we are now able to easily break our previous record. But are they smaller or are we bigger?

It is a conundrum.

Reminds me of a guy I worked with in the mid 70's.

He was about 10 years old than me and from London.......and one of those guys who'd seen everything, done everything etc. You know the type.

One day a few of us were talking about the Swinging Sixties (we were all too young to be a part of that, and he reckoned he was a "Face" back then) and somebody said "Hey Phil......is it true about the Mick Jagger, Marianne Faithful, Mars Bar thing?"

And completely straight faced he came out with "Too bleedin roight it is.......and that cheeky cahnt Mick used me facking Mars Bar to do it! Bang aht of order he was".
