What can I ride?

Evening All

I am looking at getting back on a bike after 35 years - I'm slightly confused as to what I can ride . I passed my driving test in 1984 and CBT back in 2000 (intending to take the full test but life took over!) My licence states I am eligible for AM and A but not A1 or A2.

A family member thinks I can ride up to 125cc with L plates but I'm not so sure - Cheers for any clarification

Your CBT died in 2002. Since then, you're eligible to

1) to ride a moped up to 50cc, no 'L' plates

2) to take another CBT, and after that ride a 125 on 'L' plates

Another CBT is probably the right route for you :thumb:

Also the "A" will more than likely have a code of "79" at the end of it which means you're restricted to trikes :)
