I see the MOT extension is going to end in August. Apparently they've discovered vehicles not tested tend to be dangerous. Leaving it to people's common sense to make sure they're safe hasn't worked out so well.

Leicester is apparently back into lockdown due to a surge in cases. Coming to the rest of the UK soon. What joy.

The local mayor is having a hissy fit and even the cops are asking how the f*ck they can enforce it. Right up there with Ms Sturgeon talking about folks from England being quarantined when going to Scotland. Talk about shake loose the border! A few of my Northumbrian relations would be keen to go back and forth just for devilment.

When lock down hit a lot of people (self included) went a bit mad on buying stuff on line. My smaller articles were all delivered by the postie.
