Anyone else finding it odd walking into places that went apeshit if you walked in wearing a crash helmet - that are now demanding that you cover your face before entering?

Yes it is strange, usually before in Netherlands, Austria, sometimes in Belgium, they didn’t like you taking petrol with your helmet on or entering the shop. These days no problem, if you try to remove helmet they stop you.
Only place where I was asked to Take of the helmet was UK border control, but there i almost end up with cavity search :crybaby:

I once thought I was going to get one of those..
The day I got asked by the guy in the nothing to declare asked to check my bag.
He did not appreciate my response "What the f**k you as well? It's it because I am not why not wearing a suit?".
It all got a bit heated security was called I remained calm as I got betrated.
After the lecture I explained to him I had been one of the first of flight.
For the second consecutive flight into that airport I had been questioned by:
The unmarked officer 10' away from stairs, the one riund the corner before entry into the terminal building, the one on entry to the building, and the one at the baggage carrosel.
I was surprised they did not have anyone checking in the as you left the baggage hall today.

They went rather quite.

I pointed out that if they ever saw me in a suit they may need to check my bags.

Much to my surprise I got promotion interview 2 weeks later. I was rather sheepish as I went through airport, in a suit.

Our local shop now has a big sign over the till -

Customers are required to remove face coverings before approaching the till. This is for identification purposes.

Thinking about the face mask thing, does this mean we'll have to take our helmets off and put a mask on in order to go pay for fuel?

Of course it seems silly but we are evidently a silly nation so..

would it be legal tender to wear a BUFF as a MASK in shops as i see from next week seemingly we are all having to wear them
It’s all I bother wearing. I won’t buy inflated price ones, I’m not going out of my way to hunt down ones that actually work. Had the disease, won’t catch or spread the disease, I’m only wearing the buff to make people feel easier around me. Yes, I’m that gorgeous men find me unsettling. Poor things.

Anyway, does anyone on this forum knows anyone that have got corona virus. I tried with all of my friends and people I regularly contact, here in uk, back in croatia and in Italy, and so far, thanks god,no one knows anyone getting it. All stories I heard on tv or I red in news are people that I don’t know.
Does anyone on this forum has some experience with it or at least you know someone that really got it.
