Rye Posted July 22, 2020 Share Posted July 22, 2020 Evening all, I’m pretty sure I was a member on here 10 or so years ago when I was going through the motions of getting my licence. (I’m assuming forum has reset?) Anyway I never went any further than my CBT and theory last time.So here I am 10 years later, in my early 30’s, 2 children, nice home, garage and I am in a stronger financial position than I was in my early 20’s!I am a massive bike nut and always envy riders passing me when out in my car and the sun is shining, but what made me take the plunge fully though is that 2 colleagues both own a CBR600rr that they came into work on, I rode both of them on private land and that urge came back. So I have been looking at bikes for the last month or so and was looking for a K7 Suzuki GSXR 600, ended up buying an 09 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R, which is regarded as the best super sport bike of that year. I must say, what an amazing bike...Anyway CBT is booked, bike is cleaned most days and I’m looking forward to finally getting my licence and getting on the road, long overdue!
