XTreme
There's some guys out there doing amazing stuff with these action cameras now!And the most impressive setup I've seen so far is a guy that goes under the username of The Honorary Austrian! When I first saw his stuff I was baffled how he was able to do it.......just take a look at his setup on the bike!Looks a bit technical to me with all those wires! I'm not a big fan of wires! What you reckon?
SometimesSansEngine
We watched Race To Dakar for the first time a few weeks ago and I did mention to Magpie84 just think how far camera tech has come since they filmed that. Hobbyists on YouTube are now putting out content far surpassing what the pros could do back then with on bike cameras

SometimesSansEngine
You can definitely make a career of it now, not always but sometimes. My old work colleague was a hobbyist with his own car-based YouTube channel. He then negotiated himself down to a four day working week so he could freelance for the likes of Rolls Royce doing filming for them and do more video editing. Finally he took the plunge and started to do it full-time. He earns less (and even had to hand back his cherished motor to help make it work financially) but most importantly he is truly doing something he loves. Tiggie
I saw a documentary with an older filmmaker explaining how far things have come, especially with aerial shots. What used to cost thousands upon thousands and untold hours with trained helicopter pilots & specialist cameras can now be done by practically any home hobbyist with a drone and a gopro
SometimesSansEngine
I always lost tracked what he was most excited to buy. The drone. The lighting set. The gimbal. The autocue.... The......

goat
this guy gets some very good footage. Often pilots a drone whilst riding and gets some very good shots with it.
