Scottish gov.

Post by husoi » Tue Sep 08, 2020 12:32 pm

This is absolutely unbelievable!!!
The scottish government is proud that it took as long as 1 month to repair 20m of 1 lane road on the A68 after it has collapsed during the heavy rain last month.

As comparison, in Fukuoka Japan, they repaired something far more complex in 1 week.

A sink hole in a city street and an unstable landslide in an area of outstanding natural beauty are two very different things as far as I can see .

Maybe they should've followed Scotland's example?

I am just pissed off that yet again I missed a chance to ride the Old Military Road at the Rest and be Thankful after a landslide closed the main road. Damn those quick repairs. Bloody Scottish Government.
