I've never heard of a 'project building club' but if you just join an owners club based on the project I'm sure they'd help?

Don't know if that made sense so for example, you're rebuilding a Yamaha R1 you'd join an R1 club...

Yeah I see what you mean. Well im really into

Building all types of bikes, quads, buggy etc. So looking for just a club the builds things with engines. If that makes sence.

I have had a look around but cant find anything so I might start one up. Thanks for the reply m8

You may also find posting in the right place might help also......

Try pitstop......or Projects and Restorations......

And Ricky's suggestion is a good one too.....as you're more likely to get info that you need there......although it will be a single manufacturers machines that they'd be interested in....but worth a try anyway...... 8-)

I have just joined this forum .I also use the bandit forum.I have found through building bikes.that smething like this is a good idea .I have specialist tools and then there is other tools I dnt have ./eg carb balancing .back when I had my leg amputated .I was refurbishing my xs840 flattracker.(what a machine engine built by the best unfortunatly the late tony of halco engineering ) at that time in my life one leg metal in my back.come out of hospital/whith my bike in pieces.anyone tryed lifting an xs motor.anyway back to the point.I had frinds in the bike building game.after two movesand one New woman that is quite happy that I still want to drive bikes.and new freinds .only one other biker just like myself who has biked 30yrs plus not counting off raoding .16 dt50 my dad bhought me as afirst job present/I found help was always aphone call a way.now I'm back after another acc three yr ago .I'm looking for exactly what your talking about(yes I can join nabd andwill no doubt./but a sat sunday where. You can meat up whith like minded bike. Mad people/I no I have a lot of knowledge /and a lot of mc/ mechanics.chop and streetfighter mags.whith articals .that have stuff from engineering.to engine rebuilds.I live in the edinburgh.and the one thing I have noticed is out of ten bikes. I pass I might get. A wave or a nod from four.if there was a time to stick together its now.(I hate politics)but these are diffrent days for motorcyclists.we are a rare breed on the endangered spiecies list.back to subbject I have a. Very big garden and very mellow neighbours that's all it. Takes or a local lockup and a meatup message on a forum /I am going to try this in the edinburgh area in the near future.everyvbody has somthing to offer. Ihave all the tools for airbrushing and for full paint job .wether the person wants to do it there self.cause I have a bandit that needs the motor taken out due to. My back I can't do it .so to stay on the road i hadto buy another one this is a good idear whichused to happen every wkend e
