30 is too slow

So I renewed my CBT yesterday after originally passing back in 2015 on a clutch/gear but not setting foot on a bike since, and tbh did not enjoy the experience and felt unsafe.

Yesterday I did it on a scoooter, yes I know but who cares. What a difference. Different training school this time too.

Totally enjoyed it and took to it like a duck to water. Shoulder checks, road positioning all spot on. I left with a massive grin on my face.

Scary thing is that after 20 minutes on the road 30mph felt way too slow

I'll bomb about on a PCX for 12 months then decide which way to progress.

Only 1 dick on the road who didn't want to give way to us, yes it was BMW driver.

Congrats on completing your CBT again......and with the new bike...... 8-)

30mph does feel slow, but it's amazing how quickly a dangerous situation can occur....and suddenly 30mph feels too fast.... I was young once, so I'll not preach.....but over time you start to appreciate that the limits are there for a reason. I stick to the lower limits religiously now.....but, the national speed limit?.......

You can lose a lot of skin and still break bones etc at 30! :thumb:

don't worry i won't be an idiot and get carried away. i'll be sticking religiously to the limits and conditions. Too many cameras in london to even think of getting cocky.
