Heading to brands hatch on thursday for round 1 of Thundersport GB.

Finally got to ride the R6 last sunday, the day didn't go quite as planned and i was alot slower then on the old cbr.

Couldn't mentaly get into the zone, then to top it off i got a stone through the radiator.

Spent sunday morning making fixing the hole in the rad and re bleeding the system.

Routed the radiator overflow into a bottle and set the launch control at 10,000rpm.

New wet tyres on because the weather dosn't look to good.

Got a full days testing on friday, ive never run brands before so im using old scrubs and fitting new for the races.

45 riders competing for 38 spaces so i need to be on it and get some fast times in

Made a couple of changes to the bike that will hopefully help.

Struggles with fitness at caddy after neglecting it for 2 months, cycled 76km and run 5km last week to try and get some of it back.

I'll be there with my son on Saturday, will look out for you. It's a cracking day out for anybody who is interested.

How olds your son? If he is only small bring hin round to sit on the bike.

Unless he's like 25, that would be abit strange :thumb:

Ah brands! where you get the locals turning up to race and steal points!!

Pretty much, 45 riders trying to qualify on 38 grid.

Going to have to pull my finger out and get some hot laps in

Its always the same down at Brands!

Then when the next meeting is more north they don't turn up!

You usually get a lot of locals who know the track really well and just do that one race meeting!
