Guest
Wait for authorisation put helmet back on... But go easy on them as they are only doing what they've been told to earn their minimum wage.. Wouldn't they just stop the pump again?I have no idea! Try it Shoei Neotec flip front, never take it off

Grumpy Old Git
Only been asked (via the intercom) once - I put the nozzle back in the holder and proceeded inside where I asked the chap to 'look after' my glasses while I removed my helmet. I then went back out and filled up and carried out the same rigmarole with the helmet and glasses with the attendant, before paying.Next time, no 'hassle' at all! Guest
I had this before, we had a group of us all wanting fuel and as soon as the guy behind the counter refused to turn on the pumps, that was it. We were gone. Went 5 minutes down the road to the Supermarket where they didn't have any issue with us keeping the lids on.
Mississippi Bullfrog
I used to work on a petrol station. I always take my helmet off because I know what it's like for the staff when things get awkward.
