Racing at cadwell

Went to watch my mate racing at cadwell yesterday (Sunday)

He had already done two races on Saturday and got two 1st's which was a good start to the season

Sunday came and he was on pole position on the grid but he always gets a really bad start so dropped straight to 5th!

1st lap comes over the mountain in 3rd place  he was on one

Red helmet :)

In to the second lap he was in second and was catching the race leader what it went tits up!

too fast in to the gooseneck the back end slid and as he corrected it the front washed out! resulting in one trashed bike and a big bang to the head! a bit of concussion which means he couldn't race for the rest of the day!

pretty eventful day really!

One of his mates was racing in the rookies too and got two 1st's on a bike that was made just out of bits and was only really testing it

I can see this season been a fun one!

He's not doing NW this time is he?

Passed wouldn't go a miss

Nah he has done it once and ticked off the list

The only problem with the gooseneck is when you have got to the point its going tits up its way to late to do anything and then it bites you hard.

Hope he gets sorted asap.

yup thats the problem with it! he was on a flyer too he had just done a 1.40 lap and was quicker on this 2nd lap he was looking at a 1.39 at least!

he took a big knock to the head! and was in the medical room for a few hours before they would release him

Still one of the best corners on the track though.
