Classickid21 Posted April 4, 2017 Share Posted April 4, 2017 Hi i put the spares engine in the bike, but when i am riding along i start to build up speed between 6/7k its fine, but once i go into 3/4th gear it gets to 7k/8k and its like the clutch ingages its really weird bit crap at explaining things it dosent overide on any other gears just 3 to 4th i managed to get thevs up to 8k but revs stay up in 7/8k so end up short gear change or ahut throttle off and still does it. Ive tried adjusting the cable still no joys :/ anyone had any simular problems ? Only other problems with the engine is slight rattle cam chain tensioner needs replacing, or adjusting. It idled perfectly on the stand 1st and second perfect 3/4/5 was over riding/also known as slipping i adjusted the cable at the bottle and the top seemed to sort the problem Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
