My MT09

I lasted 6 months with mine .. absolutely detested the fcukin thing ..

soft bouncy budget suspension and a horrible power delivery

Despite what you have said true I still love mine :D

The main reasons are it is so light, agile, sharp and has masses of torque.

Suspension gets better if you set it up properly and power delivery is handled by mode B and use of the clutch :thumb:

Or you can do ECU flash if you feel spending £300.

i had the Budget suspension setting up & down the range and it still wollowed round corners and bounced inbetween .. Budget is budget ..

the torque was unpredictable and too keen to spin up the back wheel ...

I fitted the throttle tamer to the 02 sensor .... filled down the lobe on the throttle grip and adjusted the TPS position as far back as it would go .. takin up any slack in the cables by the adjustor..

the ECU was flashed by Yamaha..

" power delivery is handled by mode B " .... not really

and use of the clutch .. and this is not a problem ? ...

I`ll stick to IL4 s .. thank you.

caveat - off road types

In a perfect world I'd have an MT09. When it came to choosing between that and the MT07 though, there was something about the MT07 which for me had the edge and grin factor.

Actually in my absolute perfect world I'd have the 07 to commute, an 09 for weekends and a MT10 for whenever the f*k I like ha
