Free bike parking in Bolton?

#1 Post by Pete » Thu Nov 06, 2014 12:07 pm

Like the subject says, does anyone know where I can park for free in Bolton? Car parking is free in some places on weekends, but I want to go during the week and on my bike (just to be difficult  )
Can't wait to get back out there

Nevermind, done it now!

Only wanted to pay a cheque in at the bank. Took the car and paid a quid fifty.

Not that long ago it was possible to put a carrier bag over your plate and the traffic warden's couldn't touch them; that's changed now.

BTW, I've got a motorcycle parking app on my phone. Seems to do the trick.

Yes that would be obstructing a registration plate. A motorcycle cover is exempt in UK law in that respect and IF a warden wanted it removed, he or she would have to do so with the police present.

Park in central London all the time with my cover!
