For anyone who is interested there is now a load of settings you can play with in your user control panel to make chat more personal

you can also display it on the index page so you can use chat and browse the forum all in one page

The forum software is phpBB its pretty common and you may well have heard or seen it before

The chat room is an extension that plugs in to the software

The software has changed recently and most things are pretty much plug and play the old software involved editing core files to add things like a chat room

Top stuff. I'm pretty much into Wordpress so know all about funky plugins ;) Got my website on my own server running Debian stable. While I don't see the need to get my own forum off the ground as yet I always keep a lookout :D

Anyway, great forum and keep up the good work!
